Symbiotic Alliance

I'm sure not many of you know what this is, am I right? It's a business concept, initiated by Abd Azid of University Malaya. It's based on the jemaah concept in Islam, where the real strength of a group is the unity and the collaboration that is shared between the members in the group to achieve a common goal.

As I have probably said before, I am in the leech business now. For one, I know many regard leech is freaky? ugly? and not attractive? That's the things I've always heard all the while. But as a good friend and advisor to me once said to me, when we're in a business, what ever is the product that we have to sell, is not important. what's more important is our ability to make everyone think of you when they think of leech. just like how people see toothpaste as colgate anywhere in Malaysia.

There
were times when I doubted whether I was doing the right thing, you know, sometimes we tend to question, am I doing the right thing? Am I in the right path? I abandoned my responsibilities, lost my focus.

But that's the thing with symbiotic alliance, you know (or else, in Malay is known as Pakatan Simbiotik), the people you work with regard you as brothers and sisters. Whatever problems that we encounter, we solve them together. Whatever success we have managed to achieve, we celebrate together.

I ain't going to elaborate the symbiotic alliance here in this post, maybe I'll dedicate a whole other post to write about it, but for now, I just want to say that it has saved me. Sometimes you need a stranger to knock you in the head so hard to make you realize, what's right. what's wrong.

True, people can advice, say things that they assume is right for you but in the end, it's us that have to determine where we are heading.

Just my two cents, I thought of sharing something tonight before I'm off to bed anyway. ;)

anyway, cheerio!
