BAND OF THE WEEK! - DRAWZZNIKK from Austria!

The austrian band DRAWZZNIKK, named after the bandleaders Martin and Nina Traussnigg, was formed in october 2009. Martin started playing the guitar at the age of 11 and performed his first gig at 12. As a big fan of Randy Rhoads he wrote the song “The Age of Innocence” for the 2nd Randy Rhoads CD Project. In April 2010 Martin was featured as one of the “Editor Boy´s Big Eight” in GUITAR PLAYER MAGAZINE.

But DRAWZZNIKK is not just a one-man project… the band exists of four professional from their music convinced musicians. Although the band is influenced by different styles and people, the sound of DRAWZZNIKK is unique and outstanding…just ultimately DRAWZZNIKK… not to mention to incredible vocal style of Nina!

All members of DRAWZZNIKK did a lot of live performances with their former projects (Metal Camp Festival, Summernights Festival, Metal Mania Festival, Kaltenbach Open Air, Joe Zawinul´s Birdland…) and have a lot of studio experience.

The band recorded the song “Victim of Love” for the album “Shredding Skin – A Tribute to Whitesnake” which was released worldwide by FnA Records.

In July 2010 DRAWZZNIKK released their first self-titled demo which includes the tracks “All through the Night”, “I am the Wild”, “Our Ways”, “Maybe” and “The Age of Innocence”. All tracks (except “The Age of Innocence”) were recorded and mixed at Audioriot Recordings in Austria and were mastered by John McCaig at Panic Studios, Seattle.

The band is looking for a label to work with in a professional way!
