Yesterday was probably the highlight of Michael Owen's carrier when he lifted for the FIRST TIME the premier league cup with Manchester United, NOT Liverpool FC.

And the man himself said, in an interview with MUTV

“As they say, if you can’t beat them, join them. I won a lot of trophies with Liverpool but to win the Premier League is the pinnacle of anyone’s career.

"I’m very proud today. I’ve not played as much as I did last year but we all have to play our part to win the league and it’s been enjoyable, nonetheless.

"I’m really pleased and proud to have played with a great crop of lads and obviously the manager’s second to none.”

Wow! That was a smack in the ass to the Liverpool there, mate! Ouch! XD
