I have always been intrigued by the power in marriage, the platform that holds two souls together, in time of richer and poorer, sickness and health, two souls brave the storm and sunny days together. what more words that can be used to describe how beautiful that is? Even more wonderful is to witness and listen to stories of married couples that stayed married for more than half a century, ever loving and loyal. To me, above all, that is a beauty, proof that God does create beautiful things in our lives - each and everyone of us.
Speaking of that in particular, if ever a chance, these are things I love to read to the bride on that special day, (however corny it might seems, :D )
Dearest bride,
When we are married, will you accept me for me and being who I am?If I done you wrong and hurt you in the years to come, will you forgive and lead me again to you again?Whatever mistakes and dark past that exist before you, can I share them with you and will you make it as part of your history as well? For better or worse, will we remain strong through those times? I know God will always be there for you and me, love of my life, looked into my eyes and I into yours and we'll see God's power working there.
Love,
husband
Speaking on a more personal note, this is at the very least is a personal-theme blog, isn't it? So I guess it's not really much of deviating from the purpose of the blog anyway. :)
For years, I have been searching for the one,as said many times by Ted Mosbey in How I met your mother and one phrase that I love most said during the show was, she's getting here Ted. She's getting here as fast as she could (at least that's how I remember her saying it - Stella if you're wondering who).
It's not a case of being very selective. But it has to be said, I am just searching for a christian woman who loves God and put Him above all else. That's all I need from her, not by mere looks and whatever else the temporary possessions she has, but who she is deep inside. I'd rather take that chance and it's a big chance, so call it however the people want, but I know one day I'll find her.
And that's how I always put it, I am looking for the mother of my kids and a wife to care for me during the older years. Not for mere lust and looks.
