Sometimes, as you blog you might get carried away to be too politically outspoken in your writing. I don't blame the bloggers though, 'cause while you're in your domain, you do feel as if you have the authority to say, if I want to write, who's going to stop me? - so we thought.

Anyway, the conclusion for the opening above - I think I'll leave it as an open-ended question.
Now, Can I ask you guys something?Hypothetically, imagine yourself as the ruling government (eq: Gadaffi, Mubarak). You have ruled the country for many years and in your growing seniority, you have grown accustomed to winning in elections, everything done in your way and the threat from opposition is minimal.
But with the growing use of internet and nationalists rallying new support among the people, suddenly you feel your place in the government is threatened and you don't feel as secure as before. There's actually a credible opponent to pay attention to.
To combat against ego, it is much harder when we are placed in our respective comfort zones for too long - and have forgotten how it feels to be in battle.
I was reading an interview on the Deputy Minister of Education, Saifuddin Abdullah. The title of the article is,

'Most in Umno are hardliners, but this is slowly changing'In this article/ interview, the minister has clearly pictured what I've written above. Thus why it is always important for us to point out that politicians are like diapers, they must be changed regularly. Check out the full interview here. It's free information!
But one of the weaknesses in taking that particular approach is when the elected leaders are granted a short time to rule, their focus and actions would most probably reflect short terms only. Less emphasis is placed long term development and action plans.
Should we do it like the Americans?

or
Should we do it like the Malaysians?

Joseph Stalin during his early career, he got locked up in jails many times for resisting the Romanovs...but he later ruled for many years and implemented what he felt was right.

and we continue to wonder...
