The Chief Minister

the ministers showing support to Taib Mahmud
Recently, I had the opportunity to go back to my hometown,in Sarawak for the holiday. And eventhough it was only for a few days,I am happy for the opportunity.
Anyway, apart from meeting relatives and old friends there, I had the chance to keep up with how things are over there at the moment. One thing that I read, mostly,in the newspaper is about the Chief Minister of Sarawak and about him stepping down or not, and who's to replace him once he's stepped down?
Most of the ministers around Taib Mahmud (the Chief Minister) agreed that he is the most suitable to lead Sarawak as well as most are worried what would happen to Sarawak once he's stepped down (which led to believe that Taib Mahmud is the most suitable man for the job).
For one thing, in my opinion, yes, perhaps the man is THAT good. He has visions and how to go about developing the whole of Sarawak, his ways.
But government,in this case the Chief Minister, is like a diaper. They and he must be changed regularly and cannot be worn over and over again. Yes?
However, the thing that most disappoints me is that, why is there nobody among his comrades that dare to take the challenge to lead Sarawak? Where's the spirit and a will of a fighter?Have we lost it?The people need a new leader for whom they can see their future with,30-50 years from now and clearly, not one of these ministers that supported the motion of Taib Mahmud as the best man to lead again is eligible to replace him simply because they have raised the white flags first before entering the battle. Where is our Obama of Sarawak?
Is it easy? No.not when we are leading the people. It never was and it never will.Who said it's easy?
Just my two cents worth. :)
