Late Thursday night,I received a phone call from office and I was told that,I was to go to Northen University of Malaya (UUM) as well as Science University of Malaysia (USM) in which the main objective of the delegation was to have a visit at the universities' respective entrepreneur centers and look into areas how we can proceed with knowledge transfer, projects to collaborate and how we can improve what we are doing in UM better than currently.
I was very impressed with University Utara Malaya's efforts though.It is,without doubt,the best university in the area and they even have a student mall where all the students open their own outlets in the mall.
after the visit, we dropped by at one of PUSMAL aquaculture's project sites. It was a very good visit,where the students that came along were exposed to the industry and what the graduate entrepreneurs are doing over there.
I'm planning to conduct more visits for the students after this. I feel these sort of activities as very good to expose them to entrepreneurship. :)
