Got the news today that my friends from University of Memorial, Canada just won the Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship (ACE) National Competition. These are some of the most awesome young entrepreneurs that I've met.
I had the opportunity to listen to their stories a few years back and they really are a bunch of enthusiastic and energetic young people.
There are a lot of things that we can learn from one another, albeit our background differences. If we are to only mingle and mix with the people who only have the same skin color and faith as well as speaking the same language, then we are only limiting ourselves to our full potentials.
I am writing this after my friend told me that at his work place, he finds it very depressing and boring because not many his of his kind there.
I had a strong feeling to just kick him and make him realize if you want to move forward, don't limit yourself.
This is part of the reason why I don't like the way the politics in Malaysia is a race-religion based politic. And we even dare consider ourselves coming close to first-world country?
Think again.
