As I promised earlier, I was going to write on the prequel part of this event that I attended that just ended a few days ago, lads. If you guys want to read the sequel, click here instead! XD
I came to the event on its first day, by driving and without too much expectation, assuming so because I've attended so many alike events previously that I came for the sake of coming.

Although the event itself deemed as "international", but I am rather disapproved of some of the organizers, not being as friendly. Compare this event-for-youth, I'd say SIFE is a much better platform for youths to get together. However, there are those of the organizers that were great and being rather helpful. Bless you guys!

But nonetheless, I am not being overly critical of the event overall. But this explains why my participation during the event was not even 80%, I'd give it satisfactory though.

I was expecting a little bit more practical when it comes to entrepreneurship and one thing that I always look for is, what happens after the event? It is very important for the organizers to think of the aftermath of whatever they hosted and don't let it end there.

Otherwise, a waste of money it is.

But during the event, I did make friends with other youths, from Hong Kong, Philiphines, Africans, Brunei etc. Perhaps I was a little bit pessimistic when I came that I was not that enthusiastic compare to other youths who were great and energetic throughout the event.

But saying that, I guess this event provides a good platform for the young ones to be exposed to networks, exchange of ideas and start doing something.

But after the event, it did get me thinking, what type of event is suitable when it comes to entrepreneurship?

If we hooo-haaa hooo-haaa during the event, what happens after that?Is there any continuity?More emphasis should be placed upon that.

I'd rather say, myHARAPAN (Youth Trust Foundation) is doing great with that where they constantly emphasis on continuity.

But at the end of the day, when it comes to business, the best thing I can wrap around this post is, No matter how many courses, talks, programme that you attend, if you fail to spend enough time building your business, have the guts to start and just start with something, all of the things that you attended, all the hoo-haaa will eventually be meaningless.

The exciting times lie ahead.

I've attended the Kursus Asas Keusahawanan (KAKS) a couple of weeks ago, held at Bagan Lalang, Sepang from the 11th until the 18th of June. It was loadsa fun and what a whole week of exciting new discoveries.

What held me more intrigued about the trip/course was that it was practical and the end result of attending the course was the certificate that I get that would enable me to apply for loans etc from financial institutions to help me with my business ideas. And i have loads of them.

But one in particular is, opening up a restaurant! :)

The hotel in which I stayed was Hotel Seri Malaysia. Okay lah the hotel, but it didn't matter much. And at first when I came to the event on the first day, I only knew a couple of them from the overall attendees, but at the end of the camp, I looked around me were potential business partners. Good ones at that! :)

I had attended many entrepreneurship talks before, courses, you name it but lately, I am more prone, excited and eager to join the ones that offer practicality instead of listening to talks from big corporate players. why?

well, they are big as it is, so there's hardly a chance to strike a business deals with them right, when I am just a beginner in the game.

It was fun ride indeed. A whole week spend over there made me felt quite close to the others who attended and that's when the gold mine was discovered.

I am not saying much yet, but hey, I am going to be a millionaire before 30. So, let's get rolling and wish me luck guys! XD
