Ever since Anushka Sharma entered Bollywood in 2008 making her debut with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, she has been in news both for her work and her personal link-ups with different stars of the industry. After being linked to her co-stars like Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, the Bollywood actress is now allegedly getting close to cricketer Suresh Raina.

Reports suggest that Anushka met Suresh in England earlier this year, while Anushka was shooting for a film and Suresh was a part of the cricket team playing a series in that country. Though no one is calling them a proper couple right now, sources close to them say that the two enjoy each-other’s company and have spent a lot of time together both in England and then even after their return to India.

There has always been link ups between Bollywood stars and Cricketers. Earlier it was Sharmila Tagore and Tiger Pataudi, Anju Mahendru and Gary Sobers, Neena Gupta and Vivian Richards, Imran Khan and Zeenat Aman, Sangeeta Bijlani and Azhar and the latest are Kim Sharma-Yuvraj Singh, Isha Sharvani-Zaheer Khan and Geeta Basra-Harbhajan Singh, Sarah Jane Dias-Virat Kohli.

Anushka Sharma’s too has a cricket connection. Her brother Karnesh was a state-level player Anushka Sharma is quite close to MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi.

Though there have been no comments from Suresh on this issue, Anushka has denied the alleged news that she is close to the cricket player. People are now waiting for the upcoming IPL T20 cricket tournament in April, which often witnesses Bollywood stars in the audience galleries. If Anushka does go to see Suresh’s matches during the upcoming IPL and cheers him up, it will be much more easy for everyone to come to a conclusion about whether what Anushka is saying is really true or not.
