Salman Khan avoided meeting Abhishek Bachchan at Mona Kapoor’s funeral. Sonam Kapoor’s aunt and Boney Kapoor’s ex-wife Mona Kapoor had died of Cancer in Hinduja Hospital. Boney Kapoor is a good friend of Salman Khan and Salman was there for his friend.
Bollywood was there to pay its last respect to Mona Kapoor. Abhishek Bachchan was one of the first to arrive and console the bereaved family members. When Abhishek Bachchan was inside talking to the Kapoor family, Salman Khan arrived with his family too.
Someone informed Salman Khan that Abhishek Bachchan was inside talking to the Kapoor family. It seems Salman Khan disn’t want to come face to face with Abhishek Bachchan. Therefore Salman Khan didn’t get out of his car and preferred to wait inside the car. Salman Khan waited for half an hour. When Abhishek Bachchan left then Salman Khan got out of his car to meet Mona Kapoor’s family members.
Why Salman Khan avoided Abhishek Bachchan is not rocket science. Salman Khan was the ex-boyfriend of Aishwarya rai Bachchan, Abhishek’s wife. Both try to avoid each other at social gatherings and events. Though a long time has passed and Aishwarya Rai is a mother of a baby girls but it seems Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan are not ready to let bygones be bygones.
Though Mona Kapoor’s funeral was not a social event and both are not supposed to greet each other. Still Salman Khan chose to avoid Abhishek Bachchan. After Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan dated Katrina Kaif. But it seems even Katrina Kaif is not able to obliterate the memories of Aishwarya Rai from Salman Khan’s mind and heart.
Whenever the need arises, Salman Khan avoids Aishwarya Rai too. Bollywood is a small world. Ex-boyfriends and girlfriends continue to run into one another. It it up to the stars how they chose to conduct themselves.
