Shaan's love recipe - stick to one person at all times

Singer Shaan, who has been happily married to wife Radhika for more than 11 years, says his love recipe is to bond with his partner.

"I follow a balanced diet in my love recipe... I believe that you should keep the same thing (same person) in love recipe because like wine, relationships only get better with time and I believe in this love recipe," he said at the music launch here Wednesday of the forthcoming film "Love Recipe".

Directed by Amol Shetge, "Love Recipe" stars newcomers Suhail Karim and Rani Agarwal and is slated for a May 25 release. 

The 39-year-old, who has two sons - Soham and Shubh - still looks young.

So what is the secret behind your young looks?

"See, you can't control the things around you. For instance, where the songs will come from? Whether you'll get work or not? There is no use thinking about such things," said Shaan.

"So, it's best to enjoy things that are under your control - your voice, health, fitness and happiness. Rest of the things will be taken care of when they happen," he added.

Genelia returns to small screen with 'The Chosen One'

Bollywood actress Genelia D'Souza, whose first brush with the small screen came with "Big Switch" in 2009, is set for her TV comeback. She will play a mentor on UTV Stars' "The Chosen One".

Genelia, who tied the knot with actor Riteish Deshmukh in February, is already back in action.

Last seen on the big screen in "Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya" with her husband, Genelia is said to be an integral part of "The Chosen One".

She will play mentor to youngsters on the show, according to a source.

Genelia had dropped hints to her fans about a new venture through Twitter.

"Shooting after three months, feels good, great team and a new venture, reveal details in a couple of days," the actress tweeted Monday.

"The Chosen One" will give youngsters a chance to be an insider to Bollywood gossip, and to rub shoulders with the Who's Who of tinsel town.

It is a hunt for a face, who will represent the channel. The show will be hosted by Shamoly Khera and Imam Siddique.

Bollywood beckons its married heroines

Publicity for Karisma Kapoor's comeback film "Dangerous Ishq" is on a roll. And then there will be a slew of movies marking the return of other married actresses, be it Madhuri Dixit or Manisha Koirala.

Bollywood once considered marriage the death knell for its female leads, but IANS lists the women who are now set to revive their careers in B-town:

Karisma Kapoor: Karisma ruled the roost in the 1990s but cut down on her film projects after marrying Delhi-based businessman Sanjay Kapur in 2003 to focus on her family. Last seen in the 2006 film "Mere Jeevan Saathi", Karisma, 37, hopes to return with a bang with Vikram Bhatt's supernatural 3D thriller "Dangerous Ishq", where she will be seen in different avatars.

Madhuri Dixit: The Bollywood diva bid adieu to showbiz after marrying US-based surgeon Sriram Nene and shifted to Denver from Mumbai to start a family. After making a uneventful comeback with 2007 release "Aaja Nachle", the 44-year-old is set to create magic in her new innings with "Dedh Ishqiya" and "Gulab Gang". Vishal Bharadwaj's "Dedh Ishqiya" is a sequel to Vidya Balan's 2010 film "Ishqiya", while Anubhav Sinha's "Gulab Gang" will see her playing a female gangster.

Manisha Koirala: One of the most beautiful actresses of her time, Manisha is also reviving her career post-sabbatical and marriage. She played a cameo in Onir's National Award winning film "I AM", but now the 41-year-old will be seen in a full-fledged role in 3D horror movie "BHHOOoo.!", a sequel to Ram Gopal Varma's 2003 film "Bhoot". While "Bhoot" narrated the story of a couple in a haunted apartment, the sequel is about a six-year-old child named Allayna.

Sridevi: She was the queen and vacated the throne after marrying producer Boney Kapoor. Her goodbye movie was the hit family drama "Judaai". But now Sridevi, 48, a mother of two daughters - Jhanvi and Khushi - is making a comeback with "English Vinglish", directed by R. Balki's wife Gauri Shinde. In the film, Sridevi plays an Indian woman married into an American household, who enrols in an English learning programme to please her family.

Raveena Tandon: Post marriage Raveena, 37, didn't completely disappear from the scene and made her presence felt with movies like "Sandwich" and "Bbuddah Hoga Teraa Baap" as well as TV reality shows "Chak De Bachche" and "Chhote Miyan 2". However, she is now set to play a protagonist and her first such endeavour is "Shobhna's 7 Nights", in which she will be seen in a bold avatar.

Juhi Chawla: She is one of the few actresses who have been active even after marriage. The 44-year-old juggled both the roles - homemaker and actress. However, post-marriage, Juhi turned to offbeat films like "My Brother Nikhil", "Bas Ek Pal" and "I AM". She also worked in Punjabi film "Des Hoya Pardes". Now she is gearing up for the release of her new film "Son of Sardar".

Kim Kardashian, Kanye engaged?

Socialite Kim Kardashian is reportedly engaged to rapper Kanye West.

"Kanye proposed earlier this month," showbizspy.com quoted a source as saying.

Though Kim accepted his proposal, the reality TV star has learned not to rush into marriage after her previous experience.

"Kim said yes immediately - but she wants it to be a lengthy engagement; she's learned not to rush into marriage. They're a perfect match. They've both got their own money and they both share the same work ethic. It's a match made in heaven," the source said. 

"Kim says she'd like to have some Little Kanyes as soon as her schedule allows. She couldn't be happier," the source added.

The couple who is rumoured to be dating for a while, has been spotted hanging out together many times. 

Kim married basketballer Kris Humphries last year but the relationship lasted only 72 days, after which they filed for divorce.

Dating co-stars is natural: Rachel Bilson

Rachel Bilson, known for her role in "Waiting For Forever", feels it's natural for actors to date their co-stars.

She too met her boyfriend of five years Hayden Christensen on the set of 2007 movie "Jumper", reports contactmusic.com.

She said: "Dating co-stars is natural. When you're working with someone, it's habit. I met my man at work. I'm attracted to mysterious men. Every woman can relate to that, right?."

But Rachel, who also dated her "O.C." co-star Adam Brody for three years before they split in 2006, admits she doesn't play by the rules when she is in a relationship.

Sonakshi Sinha With Akshay Kumar in Once Upon A Time in Mumbai 2

After the huge sccess of the movie 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai', Milan Luthria's is coming with the sequel to 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2'. This time Balaji Motion Pictures has signed Sonaksi Sinha for role of Mandakini in the sequel of OUATIM 2. This is Sonaksi's third movie with Akshay Kumar. As per the source, Akshay Kumar will play an underworld don Shoaib (an underworld don Dawood Ibrahim) and Sonaksi Sinha will feature as Yasmin, an aspiring actress who falls in love with a gangster. The movie also stars Imran Khan, who will play Kumar's rival as Aslam. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, will go on floors in August 2012.

Madhuri Dixit to Player Shahi Begum in Dedh Ishqiya

Bollywood dhak dhak girl Madhuri Dixit is back with a bang. Madhuri has signed Vishal Bharadwaj’s next project Dedh Ishqiya. The film 'Dedh Ishqiya' is a sequel to 2010 film 'Ishqiya'. Directed by Abhishek Choubey and produced by Vishal Bhardwaj. The news is confirmed that she will play the lead in Dedh Ishqiya, others stars are Kangna Ranaut, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi. The 44-year-old confirmed it on Twitter "Hey guys, back in action. On sets for Star's Life OK. Am doing Dedh Ishqiya. 'Jhalak' right around the corner. More to come!,". In this film she is playing the character Shahi Begum and expected to go on floors in May.

Asin turns down film with Shahid Kapoor

Earlier it was the ‘Dabangg’ girl Sonakshi Sinha who rejected the remake of ‘Vettai’ in Hindi opposite Shahid Kapoor. After Sonakshi Sinha it is the south sensation Asin who has refused to do the film opposite Shahid Kapoor.

When Sonakshi refused the film, it was offered to Asin, but even she rejected to do the film opposite Shahid and said when she was already doing film with biggies of Bollywood she doesn’t need to do film with heroes like Shahid Kapoor.The Tamil blockbuster film ‘Vettai’ is about to be remade in Hindi and Shahid Kapoor plays the male lead in it. But Shahid’s troubles are increasing with each passing day. No actress is ready to work with this dashing hero of Bollywood.

Asin has debuted opposite Aamir Khan in Bollywood through ‘Ghajini’. She then did two films with Salman Khan even ‘London Dreams’ and ‘Ready’. Next year her film ‘Most Wanted’ opposite Salman will hit the theaters.

In addition to these, she is doing a film with Shahrukh Khan also which is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘Two States’.
Sources claim that Asin has two reasons to refuse the film. She doesn’t want to act opposite Shahid Kapoor and secondly she doesn’t want to share screen space with any other heroine as well.

Kim Kardashian wants businessman boyfriend

Newly single Kim Kardashian says she wants her sisters to find her a boyfriend who is a lawyer or a businessman.

The 31-year-old socialite ended her second marriage from basketball star Kris Humphries after just 72 days last October and is now ready to move on, Femalefirst reported.

"Khloe is in Dallas, so I don't think she knows anyone.

But Kourtney is really practical these days, I would trust her! [I'm looking for] a lawyer or businessman. Something different," she said.

The brunette beauty also said she is desperate for her divorce from Humphries to be over.

"I'm so ready, emotionally, for this to be over," she added.

Throwing herself into single life, Kardashian has shed 6lbs by cutting out gluten, sugar and dairy products.

"I'm on a mission. I figure, I'm single. Now is the best time to get in shape. No more sitting at home, eating too much!"

Johansson loves being challenged

Actress Scarlett Johansson loves to be challenged in her work.

Johansson, who would be seen alongside Matt Damon in "We Bought A Zoo" admitted she is "up for every kind of challenge" and likes to get stuck in when she takes on a new role.

"I think I'm up for every kind of challenge and I like to get down and dirty, yes. I really liked that aspect of Kelly (her character in the film), that she is a no-frills kind of girl, very grounded and practical, with that salt of the earth quality," contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.

"That's the body language I created for her too; she's comfortable in her body and in her stance."

However, the 27-year-old star revealed he has developed a "hard shell" in order to cope with the constant "batterings" she has suffered in the film industry.

Johansson added: "I learned at a really young age that you have to have something of a hard shell to take some of the batterings that you get in this industry. We're constantly rejected and scrutinised and it's important to take a lot of it with a pinch of sale in order to be able to survive and press on." 

Kim Kardashian devastated in love

Socialite Kim Kardashian has been left devastated after being told by her ex-beau Reggie Bush that he just wants to be friends.

The 31-year-old was trying to reconcile her romance with Bush following the collapse of her short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries, but he isn't interested.

"She thought Reggie would take her back after the whole Kris Humphries debacle. Reggie's her one true love. He could easily fire things up with Kim now, but he's chosen not to," contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying.

"Reggie likes hanging out with Kim, but he's not into all the publicity. He's pretty much told her, 'I don't love you like that anymore; we're just friends'," the source added.

I chose TV over movies for my family: Karisma

Karisma Kapoor stayed away from films after marriage and children because she wanted to focus on her family. But she says she continued doing ads and TV as it was way easier than doing movies.

Karishma got married to businessman Sanjay Kapur in 2003 and they have two children - daughter Samaira and son Kiaan Raj Kapoor.

"I think I had great association with many brands for quite a few years. It's always nice then to do films. My daughter was growing so spending time on films was way too consuming, so I thought why not commercials. I wanted to give most of my time to family so I chose to do TV over movies," the 37-year-old told IANS.

After endorsing brands like Kellogg's Chocos, Utsav Jewellery and Khaitan Electricals, Karisma has got another endorsement deal - she has been announced as the brand ambassador of real estate giant Avalon Groups. 

She will promote their new project Avalon Rangoli at Dharuhera in Haryana.

"They approached me to endorse the brand so I thought why not and today (Sunday) we have launched a new place. There are many factors which I check before associating with any brand. Firstly, I should believe in them and secondly, the brand needs to be credible so I find both of them in Avalon Groups," Karishma told IANS.

After eight years, she is making a come back with "Dangerous Ishq", being directed by Vikram Bhatt.

Real Estate Agency Puts Genelia in Trouble

A FIR lodged against Genelia D’Souza. Genelia is in trouble due to areal estate company.

The dream run, which Bollywood actress Genelia D’Souza has been having for the past some time, first with her marriage with her long –time love interest Ritesh Deshmukh and then with the success of her latest release Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya has finally come to an end. A FIR lodged against the Bollywood actress allegedly for being the brand ambassador of and assisting a real estate company that made fool of people and took the land of ordinary people of Hyderabad into its possession.

The court in the city of Hyderabad has asked the city police to register a complaint against Genelia D’Souza in this case.

Since apart from working in Bollywood films, Genelia D’Souza also works in South Indian movies and is a big star over there. The real estate agency took the services of Genelia D’Souza hoping that her cine star status will increase their publicity.

Sources close to Genelia said that the actress in a statement has made it clear that since she was only involved in promotion of the firm and had no direct interest in it, she cannot be taken to court in this case. Further, Genelia has signed the contract to be the brand ambassador of this firm just some time back and the alleged fraud took place before she got associated with the company and cannot be held responsible for their actions in that period.

After marriage, Genelia is now a part of the family of politicians, who know how to deal with such legal issues in an efficient manner. They are surely going to get her out of this tangle if such a need arises.

If a star promotes a brand or a company, it is almost impossible to know their financial dealings. It is understandable that Genelia might not be knowing the financial processes of the company. But stars should exercise extreme caution while endorsing a brand to avoid unnecessary legal hassles.

Reports suggest that Anushka met Suresh in England earlier this year, while Anushka was shooting for a film and Suresh was a part of the cricket team playing a series in that country. Though no one is calling them a proper couple right now, sources close to them say that the two enjoy each-other’s company and have spent a lot of time together both in England and then even after their return to India.

Asin flaunts her adventurous side

After getting an unexpected time off from work, Bollywood actress Asin Thottumkal planned to explore her adventurous side and went paragliding in Panchgani, where she is shooting for Rohit Shetty's "Bol Bachchan".

A fan of adventure sports, when Asin found out about paragliding opportunities in Panchgani, she jumped at it as she wanted to do something exciting, said a source. 

In fact, the 26-year-old hired a cycle and after her shoot went cycling on a trail to make most of her stay in the beautiful town, adds the source.

"Bol Bachchan", which also features Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachchan and Prachi Desai, is expected to release July 6.
