World's first 3D porn film to start shooting

Producer Stephen Shiu Jr said his company One Dollar Production will start work on "3D Sex and Zen" in April, reports Variety. Fancy two glasses of wine? 3D Sex and Zen will start shooting in April

The film will be a sequel to the 1991 hit "Sex and Zen" and has a budget of HK$30 million (£2.8 million). Shiu claimed making it in 3-D would be the best way to beat movie piracy.

Starring actresses from Japan and Taiwan, the film will be a tale of how excess can lead to tragedy.

The original "Sex and Zen" was based loosely on a 17th century Chinese literary classic "The Carnal Prayer Mat."

3D porn film 'sells thousands of tickets' - watch YouTube trailer

3D porn film Sex And Zen: Extreme Ecstasy is about to open in Hong Kong and has already sold thousands of tickets, with people preparing to travel from mainland China to see it.

The huge success of 3D Sex And Zen: Extreme Ecstasy has catapulted its stars to worldwide fame, in particular the three leading actresses Vonnie Lui, Yukiko Suo and Saori Hara.

Loosely based on Li Yus seventeen century classical Chinese erotic literature, The Carnal Prayer Mat, the raunchy Category III film, directed by Hong Kong director Christopher Sun Lap Key, chronicles the story of a young man who, after being introduced to the erotic world of a duke, realises his ex-wife is the love of his life and features orgies, swinging and some very graphic sex scenes.

Vonnie Lui Hoi Yan is a Hong Kong busty porn star. Yukiko Suo and Saori Hara are both Japanese AV idols (adult video idol). An AV idols work in the pornographic business, often both as actress as well as model with the video performances ranging from just the idol doing chores in bikinis around their house to hardcore porn.

Since the dawn of the AV industry in the early 1980s, hundreds of AV idols have debuted every year, with an average career span of about a year, appearing in five or ten videos during that time.

Notable AV idols have careers spanning several years, have a high general public recognition, or make a significant impact on the industry in some other manner.

The line between “adult” and family entertainment in Japan is not as clear-cut as it is in some other countries. A celebrity may appear in AVs after already having established a career in mainstream television. Also, it is not rare for a popular AV actress to go on to mainstream celebrity. A background in porn is not necessarily a skeleton in the cupboard anymore. In some cases, its a career move.

The AV, or “Adult Video” market is a major industry in Japan, reportedly worth about 400 billion per year. In 1992, it was reported that over 11 AVs were being made every day by over 70 production companies in Tokyo alone. The AV market was estimated to make up about 30 percent of Japan’s video rentals. It was estimated in 1994 that, between legal and illegal videos, around 14,000 AVs a year were being made in the country, in contrast to about 2,500 in the United States.

AV actresses are usually recruited by scouts in Tokyo neighborhoods such as Roppongi, Shinjuku and Shibuya. These scouts are affiliated with talent agencies who then hire the actresses to the AV production companies. Some women wishing to appear in AVs apply to the production companies, but they are usually referred to the talent agencies. The production companies are typically charged 1.5 million or more for an actress to appear in a video. AV actresses make between 200,000 and 4 million yen per video.

Steve Scott, president of Third World Media, an importer of Japanese adult movies to the United States, estimated a top-tier AV star could make up to nearly 36 million for an eight picture deal.

AV fans are invited to follow the progress of a prominent AV actress’ career over several video appearances. In her AV debut video, the actress is introduced as a “new face,” and her inexperience is played up in interviews preceding the modeling and sex scenes. Following this debut video, the AV audience follows the actress’ journey through sexual awakening, and her eventual specialization, after about five AV appearances, in a specific genre such as lesbianism or SM.

Once the actress has established herself as a mature AV star, she has the options of continuing into some of the more outrageous AV genres, retiring, or, sometimes, re-emerging under a new name as a “new face.” With the immense publicity surrounding 3D Sex And Zen: Extreme Ecstasy, there has been a great deal of googling for more information and photos of Yukiko Suo and Saori Hara. I will
feature these two AV stars in my next two articles. So stay tuned!

Madhuri Dixit and Saroj Khan relive old days

It was yesterday once more for Madhuri Dixit and Saroj Khan, as the duo got together to shoot for the promos of a dance reality show in Mumbai.

The actress and the choreographer share a special bond that dates back to the days when Madhuri Dixit was an upcoming actress and Saroj Khan was a leading choreographer in Bollywood.

She added, "In earlier days, expressions and movements defined a choreographer's style. This is what Madhuri and I are bringing alive. No one can beat her expressions."

For the promos, the choreographer has made Madhuri dance to songs of actresses including Meena Kumari, Mumtaz and Sridevi.

Immediately after the shoot, Madhuri Dixit left for the US for a family holiday. The actress is slated to return by May-end, when the shooting for the show starts.

Aamir Khans Talaash delayed to Nov 30

A friend in need is a friend indeed it is said.   And as far as the adage goes Aamir Khan and Ekta Kapoor have always been there for each other when in trouble.   It's a known fact that Aamir Khan and Ekta Kapoor have been good friends ever since he asked for his Delhi Belly trailer to be ferried along with Ragini MMS.  And now the head honcho of Balaji has returned the favour.
It has been heard that Aamir had planned the release of his forthcoming film Talaash on November 30 and didn’t want any other big film to release on the same date.  Meanwhile Ekta had planned on releasing her keenly awaited Shootout At Wadala on December 7, 2012, a week after the release of the Aamir Khan-starrer. However, the Balaji team has decided to postpone the release to January 18, 2013.
The decision was taken after a closed-door meeting between Ekta, leading man John Abraham, director Sanjay Gupta, and Tanuj Garg, CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures. Everyone felt that there was no point in the two films eating into each other's business.

Yami Gautam wants content oriented films

She moved from television to regional movies to Bollywood. Actress Yami Gautam, who debuted in Hindi films with the unconventional yet successful movie "Vicky Donor", says movies are not about language but about content.
"You can't tag me as a regional actress. Whatever I did was considering the content over the language," Yami told IANS.
"I started my career with television and whatever work I did was keeping the content as my top most priority. Same goes with the movies, I never grabbed any work! There were a lot of offers before 'Vicky Donor', but I wanted to wait for the right opportunity. Side by side I was doing ads and I'm fortunate that I worked in 'Vicky Donor'," she added.
The 25-year-old became a known name on the small screen after working in shows like "Chand Ke Paar Chalo" and "Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam". Before "Vicky Donor", Yami featured in Kannada film "Ullasa Utsaha", Telugu movie "Nuvvila" and "Ek Noor", which was made in Punjabi.
Praising "Vicky Donor", about sperm donation, Yami says the movie's success reflects the audiences' maturity.
"The success of movie shows how Indian society is becoming open to the subject of sperm donation and does not consider it a taboo subject anymore," she said.
In "Vicky Donor", Yami plays a Bengali girl who falls in love with Vicky Arora, who donates sperm.
Though she is a part of showbiz, the actress, who is pursuing law from the Chandigarh University, says education is priceless.
"I think education never goes waste. Even if I don't become an IAS officer and right now it is not possible in anyway, I would still want to complete my law. My father has said, 'If you get a Filmfare Award, I would be happy but for me your degree and education is more important.' I never underestimated the importance of education," she said.

Her sibling Khloe took to her Twitter page after hearing of the drama and declared: "I wish I was with my sister tonight. I bet you that woman wouldn't have dared tried a thing..."

Action, comedy, drama - a summer bonanza for movie-goers

Movie aficianados are in for a summer delight! From Hollywood treats like "The Avengers" and "Madagascar 3" to Bollywood potboilers like "Jannat 2" and "Rowdy Rathore", a heady mix of romance, drama, action and comedy await movie-goers this holiday season.
"We have got two of the most eagerly awaited releases lined up. We are bringing Oscar winning film 'Hugo 3D' on popular demand to India in May and 'Madagascar 3' in June. We are expecting great response for our releases in the holiday season," Vikram Malhotra, COO of Viacom18 Motion Pictures, told IANS.
While "Hugo 3D" releases May 4, "Madagascar 3" (3D) will hit the screens June 8.
Set in 1930s Paris, the Oscar winning film "Hugo" tells the tale of an orphan who lives within the walls of a train station and is wrapped in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton, while "Madagacar 3" narrates the story of Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Gloria the hippo, and Melman the giraffe, who fight to get home to their beloved New York.
"'Madagascar 3' is one of the most loved franchises. The previous two films of this franchise have received tremendous response from people across all ages and we are expecting the third one to be equally successful," Malhotra said.
"'Hugo 3D' will have limited but loyal audience. There is a lot of curiosity among people for this film," he added.
"The Avengers" is another big Hollywood release this summer. Distributed by UTV Motion Pictures, the film is going to hit 800 Indian screens, a record number of screens for any Hollywood film in India so far. It is also dubbed in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
The film starring Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth, has been directed by Joss Whedon.
"'The Avengers' is a superhero film and we are expecting a really good response after its release, more so as it is releasing first in India than in the US," said Gaurav Verma, vice president, distribution, India, UTV Motion Pictures.
"We expect a good viewership as the film is releasing in four different languages, which in turn expands the reach too. Other Hollywood films lined up for release this summer are 'Spider Man' and 'Batman'," he added.
Apart from "Hugo" and "Madagascar 3", other Hollywood treats are "Cindrella 3D", "Men in Black 3", "Brave (3D)" and "Chimpanzee (documentary)".
Bollywood is not far behind. The month of May will see films like "Jannat 2", "The Forest", "Dangerous Ishhq", "Ishaqzaade" and "Department" hitting the screens, June will see films like "Rowdy Rathore", "Shanghai", "Ferrari Ki Sawaari", "Gangs of Wasseypur" and "Teri Meri Kahaani" entertaining the audience.
"The line up of Bollywood films this summer are very interesting. There are films like 'Rowdy Rathore', 'Ishaqzaade' and 'Department' hitting the screens. Our big Bollywood release this summer is 'Rowdy Rathore' with Akshay Kumar and we have huge expectations from it too," said Verma.
While a majority of Hollywood films releasing this holiday season target children, Bollywood barely has anything to offer them.
"In Hindi film industry, there is no specific genre of children films because it is typical masala films that work here. Children films here are of lowest common denomination," said Malhotra.
However, Verma says Bollywood films have universal appeal and don't cater to a particular segment.
"Hindi films have universal appeal and they are barely targeted towards a specific segment of audience. So it is a myth that films for children are not being made in India," he added.

Ash baby to make debut on Oprah?

Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan have been famously secretive about the name they have chosen for their daughter and have done a good job of keeping it under wraps despite intense media scrutiny. Now the buzz is that they might just show off their baby to the world on Oprah's new show, Next Chapter. Oprah shares a warm rapport with the Bachchans and Aishwarya as well.
However, sources close to the Bachchans say that it is unlikely that Beti B as she is called by the media will appear on TV at such a young age. The family want to maintain their privacy and is keen to keep her away from the pressures of the spotlight. All the Bachchans may appear on the show but not the baby.

Chirubalaiah Best Friends..??!!
