everytime your child tries to talk to you about their first love, or them "discovering" themselves or whatever it is they have in mind, please don't push them away by saying,
"Busy now, son.Later" or " Don't do it!" or "Later, boy!"
or whatever script you could think of.
Because after awhile, they will stop looking for you for advice, suggestions and opinions. Thus, the reason why they lock themselves up in the room and never share anything with you after that.
It will be awkward.
Many young adults have I asked regarding this matter, and this is just one of the many contributing factors, they said.
Am I just making up stories? No. What do you guys think?
