Beaten by the Ribs

I love eating and I can eat a lot. Especially on occasion where it's a buffet, my oh my, my wild objective would be to finish at least 5 plates just so I the trip is worth it.

I can proudly say, I have never been beaten by the Foods before.
What I took, I finished.

But, apparently there's a Challenger...

I went to Tony Roma's with a friend for dinner. I've never been here before, so this is my 1st time. 
Lots of my friends told me this place offers super delicious ribs. I must say, I'm convinced.

I planned 10. 10 RIBS!
 But half-way battling, I started to get dizzy. Oh my, the cholesterol in these, killing me.
I stopped at 5. I couldn't handle it anymore after that.


I am...defeated.
But I am planning to challenge Tony Roma's again before I'm going back to Sarawak for the holiday season this end of the month.


We'll meet again, Tony. 
I'll be back!

The Beautiful Life

The thing I am looking forward to most whenever chasing the heels of the world, is to discover the diversity that exist among us. We can't expect everyone to be the same when it comes to belief and culture, so the sooner we are able to grasp that, the sooner it will be for each and everyone of us to appreciate this beautiful life.

My few years here have brought me closer to understanding the Malays, Chinese and Indians' customs and cultures. And that's why, I am always a firm believer in understanding is the first step to acceptance. Without which, we would never be able to accept the diversity that exist in this world.

But my dream is to see more through my eyes, other parts of the world and to experience their way of living, foods and local customs.

Respect starts by respecting others. If the other side can't offer it first, let ourselves be the ice-breaker.Can you do that? 

It's Christmas. So let's say a prayer

A Christmas Prayer

Loving Father, Help us remember the birth of Jesus,
that we may share in the song of the angels,
the gladness of the shepherds,
and worship of the wise men.

Close the door of hate and open the door of love all over the world. Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting. Deliver us from evil by the blessing which Christ brings, and teach us to be merry with clear hearts.

May the Christmas morning make us happy to be thy children, and Christmas evening bring us to our beds with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus' sake. Amen.
