Android Forward SMS and Missed Calls to your Email

Dear Visitors Today we talk about Android Forward SMS and Missed Calls Alert in to your Email Account. Iam Real [Android Lover], You may wonder why would anyone want to forward text messages or missed call notifications to their email account when the cell phone is with them all the time? Won’t these messages add more noise to an overflowing email Inbox?

Not so. For instance, some of my friends work in a company where, for security reasons, they aren’t allowed to carry personal mobile phones inside though they do have regular phones at their desk and are allowed email access. They would therefore leave the phone at home but with auto-forwarding enabled, they’ll get an email alert as soon as someone sends them an SMS or calls on their cell during office hours.

Such a feature may also be handy for people who have recently switched to a different phone number and would like to keep track of all incoming calls and messages received on their previous phone but without having to carry it all the time.

The Android Market has dozens of apps that can bring the auto-forwarding feature to your mobile phone but the one that I like most is SMS2Gmail. It says “SMS” but the app can forward both SMS text messages and missed calls to your email address. You will get the complete message text in your email and the sender’s name as well provided that that number already exists in your phonebook.

It takes just one step to get it up and running. Launch the app, provide the credentials of your Gmail account and done. It needs the Google credentials in order to send email notifications but if that doesn’t make you too happy, just create another Gmail account and set it to auto-forward messages to your primary email account.

One more thing.

You turn on email notifications manually but in a situation where you have have forgotten the phone at home, or have misplaced it somewhere, you can remotely activate auto-forwarding by sending an SMS from any another phone to your phone.

The app lets you assign an Activation Keyword (see screenshot) and as soon as a text arrives with that keyword, the auto-forwards will be enabled automatically.

Bookmark Web Pages to Delicious by Email

Delicious, the popular bookmarking and content curation service, provides several options to help you quickly save web pages to your online bookmarks. They have dedicated extensions for all major desktop browsers and also a JavaScript bookmarklet that can be used for saving links on all the other browsers.

These options aren’t however convenient for delicious users who would like to bookmark web pages from their mobile phones. That’s because the extensions (or add-ons) aren’t compatible with mobile browsers and it takes too much effort to install a bookmarklet.

Fortunately, delicious now provides you can easily option to bookmark web pages by email. Just go to the settings page and choose a unique email address for your delicious account. You’ll then be able to bookmark any web page by simply sending the link of that page to your email address as show in the next screenshot.

The subject of the email message becomes the bookmark title while the URL should be provided in the message body. The delicious team says you can also add tags, comments and even specify if the bookmark should be made private at the time of saving.

In that case, the syntax of the message body would be something like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yZJ0cNik4U
Tags: screencast, youtube
Comment: Watch this video later
Private: Yes

This is helpful but I wish the email based bookmarking mechanism of delicious was a little more smart – you just send across a URL and it should automatically fetch the page title and excerpt into the bookmark. Instapaper does this quite well.

How to Share your Printer Word Wide [Video Tutorial]

Dear Visitor Today in This Post we Tech you how to use Google Cloud Print, mean How to Share your Printer one computer to another computer thru internet, If you have a printer attached to your computer, you can turn on the printer sharing option and anyone on the home network would then be able to send print jobs to that local printer. All you need to ensure is that your (host) computer is always turned on and also connected to the local network.

Now imagine a slightly different scenario where your local printer is connected to the computer as before but here you want to share that printer with people outside your home network. For instance, your friends could be in a different city and they would still be able to send print jobs to your printer over the Internet.

One option is that you upgrade to an ePrint printer that supports printing via email but you can also do this for your existing printing that is not Internet enabled?

The answer is very much yes! Google, as you know, offers a web based printing technology called Cloud Print that lets you access your existing printer from any browser or mobile phone over the Internet. The same service can now be used to share your printer with anyone else on the web without them being part of your home network.

Step by Step - Sharing your Printer on the Internet
Assuming that the printer to connected to your Windows or Mac computer, here’s how you may share it friends and family anywhere:

A: Connect your printer to Cloud Print
Step 1. Open Google Chrome, choose Tools –> Options (or Preferences) –> Under the Hood and sign-in to Google Cloud Print.

Step 2. Choose “Finish printer registration” and all printers attached to your computer can then be accessed over the Internet through Google Cloud Print.

B: Share your printer with friends
Step 3. Click “Manage your Printers”, select the Printers option and then highlight the Printer name that you would like to share with the outside world.

Step 4. Click the Share button, type the email addresses of your friends and Share. It is as easy as sharing a Google Docs document with someone in read-only mode.

C: How others can send print jobs?
Step 5: Your friend, with whom you have shared the print, should log on to google.com/cloudprint using their Google Account and accept the “shared printer.”

Step 6. Next they hit the big “Print” button on the Cloud Print website, upload a file and print using the shared printer. That’s it.

Once they print a file, you should see a new print job on your computer in the next ten seconds or so. Your friend can send files for printing from the mobile phone as well.

This method doesn’t require any complicated networking and since everything works inside the browser, it doesn’t matter whether they are sending print jobs from a Windows, Mac or Linux machine. It just works!

Ford Fiesta 2011 has Voice Control

Dear Visitors in this Post i discuss about some latest Technology which is Ford Fiesta 2011 Interduce in his Car Voice Control your Car, Now this Technology same like Your computer has voice recognition software to help you write emails without touching the keyboard. Your phone can probably understand voice commands as well so you can speak and take notes or even search the web.

Now how about driving a car that does voice recognition?

The New Ford Fiesta Does Voice Recognition
Ford recently introduced the All-New Ford Fiesta in India and I have test-driving the petrol version (Titanium model) for about two weeks now. The new Fiesta sports a very attractive exterior body (the blue color definitely is an eye-turner), the interiors feel quiet, the car comes fitted with parking sensors at the rear but the one feature that interested me the most was voice control.

The All-New Ford Fiesta lets you control the air-conditioning, radio, the CD player and your phone using simple voice commands. The first time I used the voice feature to change the fan speed, you could hear that collective wow from everyone inside the car.

The voice button attached to the steering wheel is easily approachable. You just need to press that button once, the car makes a short beep sound and you are in voice mode.

Next you "speak" the command. For instance, you say 'temperature', the car repeats if it successfully recognizes your command and then you say a number - like twenty three - to set the temperature at 23°C. If you try setting a very high temperature, the system says "not possible" and cancels the command.

Similarly, if you want to tune the radio to a particular frequency, you say the command Radio followed by AM or FM and then the station frequency. The voice commands are easy to remember though it may take a couple of days to master them well. I kept using the command "fan speed" and it would fail every time, turned out the command was "fan" which I only realized after going back to the car manual.
The Voice Button and the 3.5" Display in Ford Fiesta

You can pair your mobile phone with the car and make or receive phone calls hands-free. The pairing is wireless - it uses Bluetooth - and you can configure up to six different phones with the car (much needed if other family members also use the car).

Once the phone is connected, making calls is easy. Press the Voice Control button, say the command Dial Number and say the number. The system would repeat the number to confirm and you say Dial to begin dialing. The car has an internal memory that you may use to store frequently dialed numbers and attach them with a name - thus you don't you have say the whole number again. If you are on a busy route, you can use the command "Reject Calls" and the car would automatically reject all your incoming phone calls.

The car's dashboard is also fitted with a phone-like keyboard to help you quickly dial numbers manually in case the voice system isn't able to recognize your spoken digits correctly. Alternatively, and this is interesting, you can access your complete phone logs and your phone’s address book on the 3.5” screen attached to the dashboard but there’s no way to navigate this list with voice.

Voice control is a useful feature and the implementation is very user-friendly but how well does it work. The first two days with the system were frustrating as it would not recognize most of the voice commands. Either I was speaking too fast or, I thought, the car's voice recognition system had trouble recognizing my Indian accent.

Things however got a little better with time. I was still speaking in natural tone but added a little extra pause between letters and that seemed to do the trick most of the times. I have captured a quick video here detailing my experience with the various voice commands of the All-New Ford Fiesta.

Facebook Comments Google Begin Indexing

Dear Visitors today in this my Blog we discuss about some real interesting thing like facebook now making advance and updates for new functions and google now crawling your comments. Third-party commenting engines like Disqus, Facebook Comments or Intense Debate make it easy for you to enable commenting on any website /blog but there’s one downside – some of these commenting engines are implemented in JavaScript and hence search engines may not be able to read /index the comments that visitors are writing on your web pages.
facebook commentsIn other words, your web pages will rarely get any SEO boost as comments are rendered in JavaScript within an <IFRAME> and hence the text is not visible to search engines.
That seems to have changed recently at least in the case of Google. [Update] This was later confirmed by Matt Cutts - "Googlebot keeps getting smarter. Now has the ability to execute AJAX/JavaScript to index some dynamic comments."
Googlebots, or the spiders that crawl web pages,  are now reading Facebook comments on websites just like any other text content and the more interesting part is that you can also search the text of these comments using regular Google search.
To give you an example, here’s a comment from Robert Scoble that he has previously written on a TechCrunch page using the Facebook comments system..
scobleizer Facebook comment
..and here’s the same comment available through Google web search. You can in fact use search queries like “commenter name * commenter title” (for example – “Robert Scoble * Chief Learning Officer at Rackspace”) to discover all comments that he or she may have written on various websites that use the Facebook comments platform.
google search - comment
If you have so far avoided using Facebook comments on your website /blog just because of the SEO factor, you may want to reconsider your decision now.
However I am not too sure if Google would pass any juice to any of the website links that some people may be dropping in your comments. Also, moderation of Facebook Comments is all the more important now as the comment text is part of the page content itself and you don’t want to be in violation of Google’s Webmaster Guidelines just because of those angry comments that do not use very civilized language.

How to Save your ATM Account

When a thief forced you to take money from the ATM, do not argue or resist, you might not know what he or she might do to you. What you should do is to punch your PIN in the reverse...

Eg: If your PIN is 1234, you punch 4321.

The moment you punch in the reverse, the money will come out, but will be stuck into the machine half way out and it will alert the police without the notice of the thief.

Every ATM has it; It is specially made to signify danger and help. Not everyone is aware of this.

How to Easily Transfer Files with Cloud Storage Services

Cloud storage services like Dropbox, Google Docs, Amazon S3, Box, MobileMe, FTP, Picasa etc have made it easy for you keep your important files and documents online. These services are mostly free and you can have multiple accounts on them as long as you use separate email addresses.
If you are one of those people who have used multiple cloud storage space system to store your large files. Then it is only logical that you would want to have the ability to access all those files from a single place. Otixo is a webapp that lets you do just that. With the service you can access your files stored in services like Dropbox, Box, Google Docs, MobileMe, FTP,Picasa, Amazon S3 etc from one single place. You can also transfer files easily across cloud services. You can also access and search all your files from a single place without having to download then to your computer first.

How to transfer files with cloud services.
To get started you will need to associate all your online storage account with Otixo and then you gain easy access to all your files. You can then manage all of them from a single location you can also transfer files across services. Otixo also supports FTP and therefore you can transfer files from your FTP to Google Docs etc.

This leads to another problem though. When you have files spread across multiple cloud services, managing them can be challenge. You may have stored one group of files on Dropbox, the other on Google Docs while some of the older files could be hosted on your old Google Docs account that you abandoned long ago.

Would it be nice if there were an easy to way to manage / search all your online files from one place without having to download them to the computer first?

Meet Otixo – an impressive web-app that lets you access files stored across different cloud service from a central location. To get started, you associate your Dropbox, Google Docs, Amazon S3, Box, MobileMe, FTP, Picasa and other online accounts with Otixo and then you can easily move or copy files between any of your accounts via simple drag-n-drop.

For about my research mostly user are normally use FTP Servers Like FTPFire which is in Mozilla, CuteFTP Home, Professional, I mean User use different Servers but now in this services now user can manage they own FTP Data or website Data in easy in simple steps. All in One.

Otixo supports FTP so it can also be used to directly transfer files from any FTP server to Google Docs or Amazon S3 without having to write complicated scripts. You can even add multiple accounts from the same cloud service - like your old and new Google Docs accounts – and transfer file across these accounts easily.

Otixo offers unified search to help you quickly find all your files that are otherwise spread with multiple cloud services. You can delete files, create new folders, or upload files from the desktop to any of the associated cloud services. Everything just works.

Over the last years, social media has become one of the top outlets for advertising, brand awareness and direct marketing. It’s hard to ignore it, each day more companies join Facebook to create a fan base and promote their brand. Why? Because this social network is growing every day, Facebook marketing offers so many possibilities. To date Facebook has over 500 million active users. By “active” I mean individual Facebook users who log on every day to the social network to interact with friends, share photos, play casual online games, etc. The most recent Facebook statistics shows that every average Facebook user has at least 120 contacts. Over 2.5 million commercial, nonprofit, government, and private websites have already linked directly to Facebook to reach more people in a more convenient and speedier manner.

With one click, a person can “Like” Facebook page or a linked website. This information is flashed instantly on that person`s wall and on the Facebook walls of the person’s contact. Facebook is a definition of viral. The leading population on Facebook belongs to the 25 to 36 age bracket. That means you have a large population of users who have the capacity to buy with their income. In an instant you can send product offers and press releases to improve brand awareness and brand loyalty. A regular Facebook account provides a way for individuals to personally network with each other. A Facebook page, on the other hand, provides an easy-to-use platform for businesses to establish a direct link with a growing market on Facebook.

Facebook Pages are a unique type of profile on Facebook that helps businesses and organizations gain fans over time. Facebook Pages have a variety of tools and features that business owners can use to engage their markets and fans. Response statistics can also be gleaned from using Facebook Pages. What about people who are constantly away from their home computers? No problem. Facebook Page Strategies

Visitors Today i tell you main SMM (Social Media Marketing) Tips how to manage Facebook Page. The most significant point to note is that the more time you put in your Facebook strategy (part of your overall social media marketing (SMM) strategy) the better your brand will receive response. It is through persistence and actively attending to your brand page that you will grow your fan base and eventually new customers.
The power of social media tools and platforms cannot be overemphasized. To maximize on its full potential for your brand, below are 10 tips that will help you create an interactive Facebook marketing page.
1. Custom Tabs for Custom Ads – The new Facebook Strategy pages allow you to customize your page according to your target group. By placing an advertisement, you can direct your target group to specific areas of your pages that you want them to go to. You can create as many tabs as you see fit and this can increase the number of visitors to your fan page. This Facebook strategy enables you to reach different markets with different tabs.
2. Direct New Users to safer pages – You should learn to monitor your visitors such that they don’t get uncontrolled information that may drive them away from your Facebook Marketing pages. Make provision for a safe landing for new comers to your page as they seek to know more, they will follow through to the other pages. Make their first encounter with your brand exciting and appealing.
3. Unique Page Image – Your profile photo is very important in providing a unique entrance to your users. Ensure that your Facebook page has a photo that is exciting and engaging. The importance of the image reflects the impression it will create the first time users will interact with it. As tiny as the provision of the image box is, find a creative photo that will leave a lasting impression to potential fans.
4. Integrate Applications for more Engagement – Ensure that your Facebook strategy page has many applications that will keep your visitors staying on your page longer. There are many Facebook applications available to users and a good choice of exciting applications will keep visitors navigating your page longer. Applications may vary with the type and size of brands and a good choice of applications will hold the attention of the users and have them engaged for a while.
5. Make a Conversation – With increased brand presence and user privilege, you must seek to interact with your users. Should you have feedback or comments posted against your status on your Facebook Marketing page, be on the front line in making the conversation. You cannot opt not to participate because it is crucial for your brand growth and eventually revenue growth. Furthermore, someone else will engage with the user and you may lose the opportunity to retain them as your customer. Your engagement with your potential customers or existing ones will keep them coming back for your services, just like in any other business.
6. Interesting and Relevant Content – Content that is interesting and relevant will keep users coming back to your page. Repeat users will one way or another eventually pay for your services. It is important to keep visitors coming to your fan page and increasing their engagement. Finding interesting content is significant in returning potential customers to your page. There are several ways to find these including searching the web for relevant information on blogs and websites. It may need an effort to find interesting reads but there are many sources out there that are appropriate to help you find interesting and relevant content for your Facebook Marketing page.
7. Repost Comments made By Other Users – Reposting other peoples comments increases your relationship with the user. Many times, the brand carries its own name but may require your face to go with it. The interaction with other users increases the fan base as the reuse of their comments shows the value you place in their contribution. This however should be used on average.
8. Give regular Updates – Posting regular updates on your Facebook marketing page is very important in keeping your visitors engaged. Discussion forums should be active with new relevant topics posted regularly. Engaging in these discussions also allows for interaction with your visitors who may be fans or potential fans. Regular updates and engagements with your visitors will keep fans coming back and new ones visiting.
9. Post and Tag Users in Photos and Videos – This is a very important way of keeping your users engaged to your Facebook page. It acts as a promotional item especially after hosting events that hosted some of your fans. In addition, you may hold several activities that may include photos of some of your fans for example contests. Tagging users on photos will direct the traffic to your page as their friends will also be able to see and eventually navigate to your fan page to view the photo album. However this works well only with friends and fan pages don’t have provision for tagging. You should be able to come up with tactics that are legal on ways you can turn a fan into a friend.
10. Take Advantage of Facebook Events – Many events posted on Facebook Marketing pages are generally for everyone and this may be a good platform to engage your fans. As your fans RSVP the events, the updates are automatically seen by their friends and thus may increase traffic to your fan page. The events may not go into individual users inboxes but with the new Facebook pages, they are visible on the events updates on the homepage

How To Download Facebook or Youtube Videos Without Any Tools

In Facebook you share video many time with your friends and friends to friends and some time you tag video to your friends but you don't know, how to download these video's without any tools. Have you ever liked a video shared by your friend on facebook and wanted to download it…Well this this tutorial is not only for facebook or youtube instead it can be used for any video streaming website like metacafe, dailymotion, veoh or yahoo videos. There are websites on the internet that will convert your video link into a download link but it has the following drawback
  • If you already watched the whole video and then you decide to download it to your computer it will take double time becuase you already have spent time watching it and now have to spend time downloading it to your hardrive.
  • Moreover, the download speeds are very slow and its very irritating to download the whole video again.
But if you have already played the whole video on the site then there is no need to waste the time on downloading it again. We simply have to locate the cache folder of the browser as when the video is streamed it is automatically saved in the cache folder and just have to copy paste the video file from cache folder to your desired location in your computer.
Here is the step by step tutorial with screenshots on how you can locate the cache folder for various browsers in various operating systems
Case 1:Google Chrome
For windows Vista and Windows 7
If you use google chrome in windows vista or windows 7 then here is the location of the cache folder
C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\UserData\Default\Cache
C, being the system root. If you are not sure about the system root you can replace C: with %systemroot%.
Also donot forget to replace USER_NAME to your windows username
For Windows Xp Users
In windows Xp the google chrome cache folder can be found at
C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome
CASE 2:Mozilla Firefox
For Windows 7 and Windows Vista
The temporary cache folder can be located at
C:\Users\USER_NAME \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
For Window Xp Users
The temporary cache folder can be located at
C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME \Local Settings\Application Data
CASE 3:Internet Explorer
In case of Internet Explorer you need to go to Tools>Internet Options and then in Genreal tab click on Settings button
A new window will popup in front of you now click on View Files button.
How To Find Your Video In Cache Folder
Once you have found the cache folder of your browser the next thing you have to do is locate your video file.To do this arrange the files of the folder according to their size because video files are usually large in size.Open the largest files with Vlc player.Once you have found your video just copy it to your desired location.
Note:There are usually Some data files with names like data_1 in cache folder.Donot open them with Vlc open the rest of the files with Vlc and you will easily find your video.
Note:Make sure that you replace the USER_NAME with your windows username in the above addresses
