Sonam Kapoor’s Aunt Dead


Sonam Kapoor’s aunt died died of cancer on Sunday. Sonam Kapoor has tweeted about her demise saying, “My aunt @monakapoor3 funeral is at 10.30 am Tom 26th at pavan hans.” Sonam Kapoor’s aunt is producer Boney Kapoor’s ex-wife Mona Kapoor. Boney Kapoor and Mona Kapoor had two children, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula. Later on Boney Kapoor had divorced Mona, and married the top actress of that time Sridevi.
Mona Kapoor was admitted at Hinduja Hospital two weeks ago. Her condition was very bad when she was brought to the hospital. Mona Kapoor herself tweetd about her condition on twitter, “Once more anyone asks how I am, I will block them. You all know I am in hospital and battling stage 3 multiple organs cancer. Kindly pray for me. That’s all.”
Mona Kapoor was the CEO of the Future Studio. It is said to be the the largest fully-furnished indoor shooting studio in the city. Mona Kapoor has also produced many TV serials too such as “Hera Pheri”, “Yug”, “Wilayatee Babu” and “Kaise Kahoon”. Mona Kapoor’s Son Arjun is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Yashraj film, ‘Ishaqzaade’.
A leading English Daily has quoted an industry source, “”Mona was looking forward to launch of her son Arjun’s film ” Ishaqzaade” which was slated for release. In fact her children had circulated messages to people asking to come forward to donate blood for their mother.” ”
Bollywood celebrities has morned the death of Mona Kapoor and wrote on twitter.
Bollywood top shot producer and director tweeted about Mona Kapoor, “Mona Kapoor was one of the most gracious, dignified and loving human beings I knew… she felt only positivity for one and all… RIP ma’m.”

Preity Zinta tweeted, “R.I.P Mona Kapoor ! May her soul rest in peace. I did not know her personally, but I hear she was a brave woman of substance !”
Akshay Kumar also tweeted, “Extremely saddened to hear about the demise of Mona Kapoor, a very affectionate, supportive and positive human being. May God bless her soul and give strength to her family.”
Ritesh Deshmukh wrote, “RIP Mona Kapoorji – she was always kind to people – prayers and strength to the family.”
Director Madhur Bahndarkar wrote, “Shocked to hear the sad demise of MONA KAPOOR, an extremely kind hearted, down to earth lady, May God bless her soul RIP (sic).”
Bipasha Basu also wrote, “RIP Mona Kapoor! Strength to the family!”
Dia Mirza wrote, “Mona Kapoor leaves a legacy of graciousness and warmth that she gave in abundance to all… heart broken that she has moved on. RIP Mona Aunty.”
