Learning from the Wise Man
via |
Human being...become wiser as they grow older.
One of the most memorable lessons I have learned from my grandfather is about becoming the imperfect daddy who tries to be perfect.Yeah, my grandfather wants me to get married so he can see his grandchild. Haha. Not happening any time soon, grand. Hang on! Love you!
What's your memorable lesson then, guys?
The Cup of Coffee

Is it just me or when I drink this, it soothes and help me to relax?
And standing there, looking at the sky. Okay, perhaps I'm being too sentimental now. LOL!
What about you? What helps you to relax?

Winchester Rebels Rock Band
Yet another great Rock Band has got my attention, They are called Winchester Rebels, I came accross them on Twitter as a follow! Well I listened to the band on their own website and I must say that I am impressed with the sound that they produce, The band was formed in 2009 and are Nick Hunt(front man), John Livergood (Bass),and Nick Fitzgerald (Guitar) ,Barry Carter ( Drums), They have a good driving sound with a good selection of riffs on Bass & Lead Guitars coupled with great vocals. Songs include " Down, "Private Angel, "Snake, "Johnny, "Loaded gun, and much more songs etc, If you have not heard this band , Then go and listen to them , You won't regret it !

Tuesday Anger: Smelly People!
Working with people, aside from having to deal with office-politics and stubborn people, I have one other thing that make the "working-together" concept a freakin' hard deal!
What's that?
You are smelly bro! Don't you know that deodorant has been invented by mankind?
And it's not the price of a Ferrari either!
Only a freaking RM10.00 or less!
Footnote:
Lucky I'm working in an air-conditioned room. So the smell would not be that obvious. But the moment I sit next to the smelly people, oh my God, I feel like vomiting. Nauseated, to say the last - apart from the anger of course.

Washington DC, here I come!
via |
Just the other day, I told you about my journey in social entrepreneurship, right? Click here if you've missed it!
Well, SIFE is something I'm very passionate of! Every year SIFE Organization will be organizing its own version of SIFE World Cup.
via |
Last year the world cup was held in Malaysia. For 2012, it will be held in Washington, DC! yeepee! I'm thrilled! I'm buying my ticket - but need to get my visa processed first! Who knows how long it will take?
This time will be attending the World Cup as an Alumni of SIFE. I'm no longer a student, see? But one thing I'm looking forward to is meeting great friends from various parts of the world!
So, as I said, Washington DC, here I come in October!
Footnote:
Need to save money for the expenses. =_=
via Am really looking forward to meet the Egyptian students! Want to know more about their stories from last year's coup! |
Congratulations!
a simple announcement to dear readers

Girl Band Stooshe
Ah,I have just noticed a girl band called STOOSHE ! The girls are funny, sexy, and they sing and dance' I found the video on their website very entertaining indeed, These Three girls are going to be big so Watch out for them! Their song Called love me featuring Travie McCoy is a commercial pop song that is catchy and interesting, Should be a hit!
The Mutineers Band
Please look out for yet another great band called The Mutineers, They are from Manchester and on hearing them on you tube I am impressed with the full sound that they have as only a four piece band! The band consists of James Mullins on Vocal & Guitar, Michael Reed on guitar, Iwan Gronow on Bass, Charles Salt on Bass, And Jack Mitchell on drums, Their debut single ( Infidelity) is a song that is well written and is well played musically, Well worth a look on you tube! The only thing that cofuses me is that two Bass players are listed on facebook page ?
Monday Morning Question: Relationship
Relationship between two people are meant to be complicated and never going to be easy.
Quarrels happen all the time between the two closest people.
But that does not mean it's the end of their relationship.
It works both ways. Ebb and Flow of the ocean.
How do you manage the conflicts between yourself and the people you are closest with?
Say, your husband? wife? best friend? sister?
Share please?
Footnote:
I would like to advice some of the bloggers to mind what they are posting on the net because the more I do my blogwalking, the more I have noticed there are a lot of underage teens blogging.
So, things that are inappropriate should be filtered beforehand.

Looking Back and something for you guys at the bottom
Today 25th February three years ago in 2009, was the first time I joined Student in Free Enterprise.
So, for the Saturday's content, just would like to share with you guys briefly how the years turned out and something for you guys at the bottom of the post!
And there you go. A brief summary.
For 2012 onwards, I am starting a new social project for the local community residing in Kuala Lumpur.
My main audience would be single mothers. (I will launch the project in April! Stay tuned!)
No matter how small our contributions seem at times, those small deeds and acts are what making the difference between standing still and complain or do something and make a change.
Make your choice!
Footnote:
I am providing free advice for those of you who want to make a change in your community but don't know where to start. Come on guys. If you have any questions, just leave 'em in the comment section! :D
