Tollywood actor Shiva Balaji (Arya fame) was caught by Hyderabad police for drunken driving on Saturday night and a case has been registered against him under Section 185 of Motor Vehicles Act.
The police stopped Shiva Balaji's Fiesta car at Vidya Bahavan Chourastra near Film Nagar as part of the special drive conducted against drunken driving. Actually, the limit is 30 micrograms per 100 ml of alcohol. But, the actor consumed more than the permissible limit.
As per the rules, Shiva Balaji's license might be suspended for two months besides imposition of fine.
A challan of Rs 2,000 will be issued for four-wheeler riders and Rs 1,300 for two-wheeler riders along with suspending their driving license for two months, if found guilty of drunken driving.
