some time since actor-comedian Vadivelu has been seen in films. He was seen in Prashanth-starrer 'Mambattiyan' released recently but he hasn't been as prolific as he was earlier.
Reports said that Vadivelu while participating in a function near Madurai, said that he was not donning the greasepaint because of personal commitments. The comedian charged that people were spreading rumours that he is scared of certain politicians and is therefore maintain a low profile.
Vadivelu said there was no truth in such reports. 'An actor also has personal commitments and I have to fulfil them,' said Vadivelu.
