There have been a lot of predictions and interpretations coming from analysts and gamers alike when it comes to Grand Theft Auto 5. The game title is certainly mysterious in many ways. The more recent rumor of the title being released exclusively on the PS3 has excited some but also frustrated others. We think that both the PS3 and Xbox 360 are capable of getting the GTA 5 out there for great hours of gameplay.
Looking back, GTA 4’s development started in 2004. The game was released four years later. So what should we expect from GTA 5’s timeline? It has been revealed that the title’s development is certainly underway. Even trailers back this up. Base on the trailers, the development time for GTA 5 promises to be shorter. But of course, we have to take in consideration the fact that Rockstar will be working on a lot of game aspects, such as maps. Just think about the details – all those nooks and crannies – in The Elder Scrolls 5 – Skyrim. We would want to see that in GTA 5 as well but of course, all the details will contribute to a longer development time.
So would you wait a little longer for GTA 5 if you will be getting all the details and the vastness of a world such as Skyrim? What if the GTA world can become more sensitive to all sorts of interaction? We don’t really know what is going on with the GTA 5 development but we sure hope that the crew can somehow balance development time and content. I don’t want to wait for four years for a game that is already being buzzed about right now.
