I've grown fond of Alabama ever since I've watched Sweet Home Alabama.
I love how they speak and somehow, it gives the impression that they are more traditional than New Yorkers, per se.
Well, I don't know the actual scenario that is taking place over there in the state - being an outsider - my views upon Alabama is formed by the movies and internet images that I watched and saw. So, I might be misguided but if ever I could come to America for a vacation, I'd pick Alabama first then, Los Angeles or New York.
I was on Facebook earlier and I found this link shared by a friend from the internet. I cannot say I am not touched by the picture - saddened even.
Global citizens are blaming Americans for what the American government is doing upon inferior countries such as those in the Middle East (Libya, Afghan, Iraq etc) but as with any government in the world, usually, the actions carried out by the government does not actually reflect what the people think and want.
Thus why it is important we get our information right, our facts straight and what we think towards others are not one-sided.
