It seems like politics is creeping its way to film industry too. The Mullaperiyaar issue has created a big challenge to the Malayalam films in Tamilnadu.
The politics of Malayalam film industry has already crippled the industry which is now moving back to normal. It is now head that Tamilnadu has banned Malayalam films from screening in Tamilnadu due to the difference between the states on the dam issue.
There are always huge fans for Tamil films in Kerala but only rare Malayalam films that too of super stars are popular in Tamilnadu. The upcoming release of Mammotty's VENICILE VYAPARI and Mohanlal's ORU MARUBHOOMI KADHA will be affected due to the ban.
