I love business and the whole art of entrepreneurship as a whole. But ha! Nothing will ever go your way in life - we plan, but we don't decide what will happen eventually, right?
So, that marks another of my calendar for this year. Would you allow me to share with you guys the 23 things I have done this year? Now,here goes guys (drum rolling!)
1. I joined the SIFE Malaysia National exposition
(again) I understand how it feels like Michael Jordon and his fancy comebacks before. So, I did make mine as well. I helped the team and participate as a person who was only helping with the Q&A session, not in the actual presentation.

2. My grandmother died this year, on the Valentine's Day.
One of those few things I really regret in my life - I promised her to come and visit but I fucking didn't. I feel terribly horrible ever since then. But life goes on, and I know she's happy wherever she is this year.

3. My graduation!
I never thought I would eventually complete my studies. But like a boss! I did! I have graduated but you know, those moments you have been waiting for so long and imagine them with trumpets, crowds cheering, and what happened? meh...none of those things happened. But the ceremony went well and thank God, it's over!

4. I participated in the Shell Recruitment Drive (SRD)
I was very excited when I received the call-up that I have successfully managed to go through to participate in the SRD. Growing up with Shell during my childhood back in Miri (Sarawak), I felt a connection with the company - somewhat in debt?
But luck was not on my side - and I didn't go through. can I say...f**k?

5. 2 years with the Leech Company!
If you had read my previous posts and on "About Me" section before it was edited, I was actively involved with a leech therapy business under the company "Leech Miracle" and I have been part of the company for 2 years! 2 years! I can't believe it! And guys, I resigned from the company on the 1st of July, 2011. #True story

6. I joined EZCount Learning Training Course
Do you guys have any idea about abacus and mental arithmetic? I sure do. Back in September, I joined a freaking course wholly dedicated in training and teaching me how to use abacus and teach children on the learning of mental arithmetic. It cost a freaking RM 2,500.00 lads!

7. I participated in the TedX Kuala Lumpur
I volunteered as part of the committee in organizing the event here in Kuala Lumpur.
Good foods.
Interesting crowd.
Part of the learning curve.

Result = FUN!
8. My first wall-climbing experience!
From year to year, I'm growing older. But from year to year, I want to remain active. So I marked the year 2011 with my first wall-climbing experience!
It was freaking scary at first, but I conquered the wall eventually! #Truesstory

9. My first flying on airplane with a friend as a pilot
It was a very cool experience I had. It was fun and what's more special about it? I had the trip free! Did you know that you have to pay around RM 500 - 900 for the trip? #thankGod!

yeah, maybe in other life, I'll become a pilot.

10. I'm on TV!
Well, not exactly a whole show dedicated about me.That would be awkward! But I attended this event where the government was promoting a fund for youths to run their projects.
So, there was a Q&A session with the Prime Minister, and hell yeah, like a boss - I asked my questions.

11. Participated in a 2 weeks course on how to do business like the Chinese
Weird, huh?
But I did. It was held back in July. and I was sponsored to participate in the course. The whole course cost a fucking RM 9,000.00 per participant!Freaking expensive lads!

It was fun, very educational and inspiring.
12. I lost to Astro...eventually!
Earlier last month, I lost to Astro. How?
I freaking subscribe Astro at home. Oh well, there goes another one of the liabilities that I will have to bear by the end of the month, eh folks?
13. Joined the 10th Malacca International Youth Dialogue
This 4 days event was held in Malacca. It was an event held to promote dialogue between youths across the world on issues that affect our society today.
It was....not up to my expectation. I have written a post on this.
But I took the opportunity to invite my friends to come over to Malacca and we had a road trip here in the city!

It was FUN!
14. School reunion!
Always remember where you're from, guys. Always remember. Never forget that - thus, I was thrilled at the opportunity when I had the opportunity to be part of the school reunion we were having back in September, with my school mates from school wayyy back in 2004. old school. old school!

15. My cat gave birth...TWICE!
Do you remember my dear cat, Molly? yeah, she was pregnant and got pregnant TWICE this year. Imagine that, huh? My little daughter has grown up and just couldn't handle herself anymore. Oh well - life goes on. I grow older.

16. Youth Defined: Shape your future
oh yeah lads, like I said over and over again, I'm very excited in helping out my country with youth development. So, at every opportunity I am able to be part of, I would love to. And so I did!

17. My idol, Dato' Jalaluddin Hassan
Oh yeah, I must admit I am a big fan of this man right here in the picture.
I love the way he acts and his movies are awesome too.
So, I was buying groceries one night with my sister and found him in the supermarket too!

What a day!
18. Flight-simulator experience!
This year, thanks to my friend who's becoming a pilot, have given me a lot of opportunities to experience and understand aviation much closer. I must say, if given the opportunity to do it again, I want to become a pilot. But oh well, maybe in another life.

19. I gave an entrepreneurship speech
I don't really like giving speech. Because no matter how many times I stand in front of a crowd, I still get really nervous. But just before my convocation, I was given an opportunity to speak in front of a crowd consist of fellow students, the University's entrepreneurship centre and some selected industry players.

20. Participated in the "the Entrepreneur Movement" in University of Malaya
yeah, I opened a booth on my business that month. It was fun and I guess, since I have been doing it a lot of times before, I was not really that nervous when the minister came to visit and beginning to ask questions on the products.

21. To the rescue
I always see fire emergency on the news from the tele all the while. But when it actually happens in front of you, boy it's scary. So, when I thought I was scared...

when some part of my neighbourhood had their houses under fire, my friends and I helped the victim to carry out their belongings out of the house before the fire caught on everything.

22. A morning with Malaysia Hari Ini, TV3 (MHI)

I have always wanted to know what it was like in the studio and how they do it when they are showing something live, you know? Don't you get curious?
So, my friends and I had the opportunity to be interviewed at TV3, one of the major channels here in Malaysia that morning.
It was freaking cool!
23. And finally, it must be said...23rd years a single.
It must be said...it must be said. I did fall in love this year, but a loser a loser, I am.
So, this year would mark the 23rd anniversary I am a forever alone dude.

But no matter, keep on trying! Keep on trying!
You see, dear friends, life's funny in its respective ways. How things happened, How things didn't happen are part of the grand plan. I have faith in Him that these are not random acts of life but merely part of the pieces that form the bigger picture.
For 2012, I am drafting a more structured planning of how I want to maximize my learning and experience. and most importantly, how I will become an entrepreneur I have been dreaming for so long.
Hallelujah!
