Bollywood of today is a far cry from the time a Bollywood heroine passed off her casual ‘drink’ as a cold drink. Actor Aamir Khan announcing the birth of his baby boy through IVF (in vitro fertilization) surrogacy on Monday, is an addition, and a more significant one, in showing a Bollywood star coming of age as an individual. Adoption was a nudge-nudge word in B-Town until Sushmita Sen, fresh from Ms Universe days, an actor, single and in her early twenties, adopted her first baby in 2000. It soon became cool to at least adopt one baby in the family. In 2000, she adopted a daughter, named Renée and topped it again by adopting another girl, Alisah on January 13, 2010. Sush continues to be single, but flaunts her motherhood like any proud mother — married or unmarried!
