Still being a dream girl even at the age of 63 Hema Malini can always outrun current actresses with her beauty and grace. The actress is now honoured with the prestigious Akkineni Nageshwara Rao National Award for the year 2011.
The actress has honoured with many awards including Padhma Sri the highest civilian award from the Government of India in 2000. Even though she is a Tamilian by birth she became famous in Bollywood with her Debutant Hindi movie SAPNON KA SAUDAGHAR with Raj Kapoor. The film itself given her the title Dream Girl.
Hema Malini is the wife of Actor Dharmendra and step mother of actors Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol and mother of Ahana Deol and Esha Deol.
Akkineni Nageshwara Rao National Award is given every year to recognize people for their life time achievement and contribution to the Indian film industry.It is in the honour of late Telugu actor Nageshwara Rao starting from the year of 2006 by giving the award to late actor Dev Anand.
